27 OTU Lichfield Church Broughton Base near Derby

 

Crew at 27 OTU, Church Broughton, August 1944 (N.V.Evans, M.Frank, A.D.J.Ball, M.J.Hibberd, J.M.Tait, R.R.Taylor; all later in 462 Squadron).

 

 

Arriving in early June 1944, the 6 man Crew formed at 27 Operational Training Unit (OTU) and trained in Wellington Bombers. Photo taken at the RAF Satellite Station at Church Broughton. A similar photo with a known date of August 1944 may be seen on the R.R.Taylor page, and another (undated) on the A.D.J.Ball page. Rank listed is that of August 1944.
